Alchemical imagery in the works of Quirinus Kuhlmann (1651-1689)

I find this book as must-have for anyone interested in Alchemy.

Through this book, I greatly expanded my knowledge of symbols and myths in alchemical texts. As a reader with no background in the world of alchemy, I was provided with extensive access to a previously unknown subject.

When I bought this book I expected to find there just a particular study of alchemy's impact on Kuhlmann's work, but I was surprised to find in this book much more wide and interesting research. Although baroque poet Kuhlmann is the central figure in the entire book, the scope of the book goes far beyond a narrow study on his work.
